STHS uses some of the very best climbing rope that you can get. STHS currently offers a 30' x 11mm mainline with a 45" x 6.5mm prusik loop from BlueWater Ropes. BlueWater is one of the best climbing rope manufacturers in the country.
You should never use a plain "hardware store" type of rope. It is not rated to take the load of a fall. This line is considered to be "lifeline" and is used by professionals all over the world. (See this link to BlueWater Ropes for specifications.)

 

For those that use a climber stand or need a lineman's belt, STHS offers a 10' length of mainline with the prussik loop for $18.00 shipping included.
Connect one end of the mainline to your D-loop and the prusik loop to your other D-loop to form a Lineman's belt.

A Rescue Line for Climbing is a great addition to your gear. Get an 8' length of prusik cord to use as a rescue line if you do fall. Keep this in your pocket so you can get at it and connect it to the lifeline to climb out of the fall. Add $5.00 with regular line order, or add $3.00 shipping if you only need this..

We now have a carabiner available to add to your orders. It's made for climbing and they are rated at 20Kn. They are $9.50 each with a line order. Not sold separately.
